How a simple Kajabi tripwire can boost your income PASSIVELY

Hey Kajabi users, ever heard of a tripwire? If not, you are in for a treat!!

Freebie-tripwire pipelines are one of my favorite ways to make passive income in my business. (Like, literally money coming in while I'm asleep. Ya, it's awesome.) And I'm going to explain to you how I do it. 

First off, let's explain what tripwires are. A tripwire is a very low-ticket no-brainer kind of an offer that turns a cold lead into an official paying customer. Tripwires are very useful in business because once someone has paid for one of your offers (no matter how small), they are significantly more likely to buy from you again, turning them into a warm or hot lead. 

A freebie-tripwire pipeline is a type of pipeline that I use in my business to encourage these little low-ticket purchases with very little effort. Here's how it works.

So you know how when you download someone's freebie, you get taken to a thank you page afterwards? The thank you page often has one of two functions:
1.) It thanks you for opting in and contains a button that you click to directly download the freebie
2.) It thanks you for opting in, tells you to check your email for the freebie, and contains a button with some sort of prompt unrelated to the freebie (i.e. "while you're here, click below to join my free Facebook group!" or "BTW, click below to follow me on Instagram!")

These are great ways to deliver your freebies, and potentially grow another platform simultaneously, but in Kajabi, viewers do not have to be directed only to thank you pages after opting in to free offers. They can be directed to ANY page that you've built. Even sales pages. 

And that's where the freebie-tripwire pipeline comes in. To create a pipeline like this, you simply set up Kajabi to send the viewer to a short sales page for your tripwire offer after they opt into a freebie. 

This means that immediately after opting in, they are offered an opportunity to purchase a low-ticket offer that is somehow related to the freebie. It's like an elaborate type of upsell, if you will. 

And it's EFFECTIVE!

Freebie-tripwires are perfect for promoting on Facebook, Instagram, your website, your "link in bio" list, or anywhere else where you drop your services and freebies!
